Menaye Donkor Muntari was born on March 20th 1981 in Toronto, Ontario-Canada. She was brought up by her parents in Accra, Ghana and is the youngest of 7 children. She received her primary education in Ghana and graduated with honors degree in marketing from York University in Toronto Canada. As an enthusiastic and objective woman with a passion for children’s welfare, Menaye runs non-profit organisations, (the Menaye Charity Organisation and Menaye School of Hope) enabling her to provide free quality basic education and scholarships to rural underprivileged children in Ghana. In September 2012, Menaye was chosen by the Chief and elders of Agona Asafo in the Central Region of Ghana as the ‘Nkosuohemaa’ or ‘Development Queen’ of Agona Asafo with the official stool name Nanahemaa Menaye Afumade Afrakoma I. She was honored this prestigious title due to her contribution in society.
